Appointment and Retirement of Company Directors
At the Annual General Meeting of General Practice Tasmania Limited held on Friday, 5 December 2008 two new Directors, Dr Graeme Bleach and Ms Mary Bent, were elected by the members to join the General Practice Tasmania Limited Board.
In accordance with the General Practice Tasmania Limited constitution Dr Geoff Chapman and Dr Leanne Jones both retired from the General Practice Tasmania Limited Board at the 2008 Annual General Meeting.
Following the Annual General Meeting the General Practice Tasmania Limited Board met and elected office bearers for 2009. The Board elected Dr Nicholas Barnes as Chairman, Dr Judith Watson as Deputy Chair, Mr Glenn Appleyard as Treasurer and Ms Sarah Male as Company Secretary.
